Wireless Networking at SJC
A large part of the expense of the project is the networking infrastructure of the College, which will enable every student equipped with a laptop to be online, on the Internet, connected to the school’s fileservers, at the same time. Smart technology switches will connect wireless hubs in every classroom by fibre optic cable.
The hardware and cabling is only one of the factors to be considered in readying the school for this initiative.
